Prakriti doesn't move. Vikriti does.
Two words
Ayurveda splits what most apps smash into one label. Prakriti is your constitution — the mix of Vata, Pitta and Kapha you tend toward for life. A decent quiz can sketch it. A practitioner with a pulse and a history will do it better. Either way, it is not a personality type, and it is not supposed to change because you had a hot August.
This week
Vikriti is the current state. Season, sleep, travel, noon sun, a month of late dinners. The same body, different reading. That is the number that should decide breakfast, not the result you got on a quiz in March.
The gap
Subtract one from the other and you get drift — how far you are from your own baseline, not from an average person. Ritu computes prakriti once and never edits it, then measures vikriti every fortnight. The morning cards follow the gap. Apps that only give you a type have nothing left to say after day one, because they threw the second measurement away.
Not medical advice, and not a diagnosis.
Traditional lifestyle practice. If you have symptoms, see a doctor. The words are useful; they are not lab values.
